He is scouting alongside UEFA Pro Coach and AS Roma Legend Amedeo Mangone as part of WWS to scout for talent in Africa.
With a stellar career as a former professional football player and former manager of Cape Town Spurs, Shaun Bartlett brings a wealth of expertise and insight to lead WWS's Soccer Scouting project, identifying and nurturing soccer talents across Africa for opportunities with European clubs.

Shaun Bartlett, a household name in South African football, had a distinguished playing career as a striker. Notably, he played a pivotal role in leading South Africa to victory in the 1996 African Nations Cup and represented the nation in the 1998 FIFA World Cup, where he scored two memorable goals. His journey continued in Major League Soccer, playing for the Colorado Rapids and the MetroStars, and later making significant contributions to FC Zürich.

Alongside Bartlett is Mangone whose illustrious career spans significant achievements in European football, beginning with A.C. Milan's youth system. His notable journey through Serie A clubs includes Bari, Bologna, Roma, Parma, Brescia, and Piacenza, culminating in a UEFA Cup win in 1998 and Serie A league Championships in 2000-2001. With a UEFA pro license, Mangone is equipped to mentor and identify the next generation of football stars.
Both Shaun Bartlett and Amedeo Mangone will play a crucial role in overseeing the upcoming WWS Soccer Scouting Camp, scheduled for December 2 – 3 in Johannesburg, December 9 – 10 in Cape Town, December 12 - 13 in Durban and lastly, December 16 -17 in Kenya. The camp presents a unique opportunity for young talents to showcase their skills and vie for a chance to earn a shot at a trial with European clubs as well as earn university scholarships.
In collaboration it is the goal of the organisation to create a world class academy and football club around the talented players identified in December.
